The rapper had spent time in the studio, but never allowed his music to be heard by the public until 2015. He was working construction when he decided "Wat U Mean (Aye, Aye, Aye)" would be his debut track, and when it dropped in late 2015, it became a regional hit. In 2016, after Young Dro jumped on the remix, it became a national summer hit.
