His music speaks directly to the listener in a way that grabs you due to its relatability. His witty punchlines and vivid depiction of life sets him apart from the run of the mill artist. He creates his music on the spot and never writes anything down. He says, "It's about feeling the music and giving the people that feeling." He's worked with super producer Tim Kelley and has been in the studio with Dj Hi-Tek, Bizzy Bone, and a host of other Ohio artists. Refusing to follow industry standards, Capital P has turned down multiple record deals to retain his creative control and operate as his own boss. Teaming up with producer Jamezz Bonn, the two have created a very intoxicating sound that is sure to wow you on your first listen. He states, "It's more of a reaction to what Bonn is doing with the production than a premeditated thing. We make 95 percent of our music on the fly in the moment." After listening their latest project "Seven", I would have to agree that the two have something special and organic about their sound. It's not based on gimmicks or fads.
