GreenHitz.com
MILESTONE: Ugandan Reggae-Dancehall Rookie Mc Norman Signs for S.A’s Sheer Publishing, Releases New 15 Track Album Ugandan Reggae-Dancehall rookie singer Ronald Mutebi aka Mc Norman has signed a music publishing deal with one of South Africa’s leading music houses, Sheer Publishing. It is said that the deal which was finalized a few weeks ago has resulted into a new 15 track album titled ‘Bam Bam’ with the title track going viral with over 2 million views on YouTube. The singer who until now had been plying his trade in the United States is currently in blitz after being recognized by international music industries, like BET for his single ‘Ndiyabuza’ which was used as a sound track for three Hollywood movies which include ‘What my husband doesn’t know,’ ‘American gangster’ and ‘the game.’ Mc Norman was also nominated several times in the international music awards in the United States as the best African dancehall artist in the Afrimma awards 2014/2015 best world new entertainer 2014 IRAWMA awards held in Florida Miami. Born to Senior Eddy Ganja, a Ugandan music legend, Soloist and vocalist with the Afrigo band, Mc Norman, at the age of 12 started off his music career in Afrigo band working with Joanita Kawalya and Peterson Mutebi way back in 1987. Before he left Uganda, Mc Norman was one of the top local MC’s who had stints with the then high end clubs like Missouri in Maganjo, Pulsations in Kabalagala among others. MC Norman recently dropped his latest single titled ‘Burning Up’ and has just completed the shooting of a $27K video of the song before flying back to South Africa for his new deal particulars.
