DJ Tab " I Ain't Scared " New Single! Feat. Baby Soda @ DOE F.A.M Bangin! DOWNLOAD NOW! CLICK HERE! At age 35, DJ Tab has accomplished quite a bit, he’s a radio station owner, label owner, artist, and tour DJ for some of the hottest artists and events in the country. Currently, he’s the tour DJ for the world-renowned Memphis Hip Hop Duo 8Ball and MJG and a member of the Push DJs. Hailing from St. Louis, DJ Tab has crossed the country and left his mark on the sets of BET Rap City, Showtime at the Apollo and MTV’s Total Request Live amongst others. In 2015, DJ Tab launched Empire Clothing, a men’s online clothing store before he went on to launch his own energy drink called Get-N-Tune in 2016. Next up for this business-minded rising star is launching his own water brand in 2022. He let the energy drink go because he says he doesn’t drink energy drinks and his integrity would no longer let him sell or market the product. DJ Tab’s beginning is an interesting one, “I used to draw a turntable on my mom’s hardwood floor with headphones on and act like I was scratching.” His mother and late stepfather bought him real turntables, and the determined Tab taught himself how to scratch. “I used to wake up in the morning, practice before I would go to school, go home, finish my homework, and practice my turntables.” That’s an amazing story because I’m not sure I would have fared so well with my mother…drawing on her floor like that! In a twist no one could have predicted, DJ Tab’s big break came in his sophomore year of high school when a local female promoter booked him and then budding superstar J-Kwon for a high school Christmas concert. During soundcheck, J-Kwon’s show disc malfunctioned and Tab ended up running J-Kwon’s soundcheck using the vinyl of his hit 2003 single “Tipsy“, a song which went on to peak at number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100. He became J-Kwon’s DJ from that moment on and his travels with the artist landed him on the aforementioned stages! DJ Tab’s career as a creative and ventures as an entrepreneur has gained him a global audience spanning the US, Europe, and beyond. Today he’s an owner of multiple radio stations, is touring on his own name as an artist and DJ, and owns a successful independent record label Iconic Music Group that is home to some of the midwest’s top new talent. One of the big success stories to come out of the label that I’m aware of is Rapper Big Boss Vette who not too long ago signed a major deal with Republic Records a division of Universal. As a personality himself, the award-winning DJ Tab has put together a string of more than 30 mixtapes and tours under the Live Nation banner which is a massive accomplishment! Speaking of which, he’s got a major event coming for which he’s providing the music called the Allstar Legends of Hip Hop featuring Juvenile, Bay Area legend Too Short, Scarface, 8Ball & MJG, Trina, and Trick Daddy on March 19, 2022, that’s gonna blow the doors off of first quarter!!! The show is at the Fox Theater in Atlanta, GA…if you plan to be in town, you MIGHT want to get your tickets now. Follow On Social Media!
