“Ignition” captures the moment attraction becomes impossible to contain. Bhalayn brings Pop R&B songwriting into a New-Jazz-influenced production style, delivering a controlled, intimate performance as the song moves through heat, urgency and surrender. Its hypnotic refrain and focused 1:59 arrangement give the record an immediate, performance-ready pull. “Ignition” also serves as the title track of Bhalayn’s forthcoming five-track EP. DJs!
