DJStealth reacted to GreenHitz.com in Camila Cabello Ft. Young Thug - Havana @Camila_Cabello
Camila Cabello is a founding member of the girl group Fifth Harmony. Born Karla Camila Cabello Estrabao in Cojimar, Cuba, Cabello moved to Miami, Florida at the age of six. Growing up in a Spanish-speaking environment (her mother is Cuban and her father is Mexican), she fostered her love of music by listening to Celia Cruz and Alejandro Fernández. At the age of 15, she auditioned for The X Factor in Greensboro, North Carolina. Even though she was eliminated (along with her four future groupmates), the judges brought her back. Simon Cowell combined the girls into a quintet and formed Fifth Harmony. Despite finishing in third place, they went on to be the most successful contestants from that season. Their debut EP, Better Together, was released in October 2013, with acoustic reworkings, Spanish versions (Juntos and Juntos Acoustic), and a remix album following a month later. Their debut single, "Miss Movin' On," was the highest-charting U.S. X Factor single at the time, a feat beaten only by each successive Fifth Harmony single. Their debut LP, Reflection, was released in early 2015, featuring the hits "Sledgehammer" (written by Meghan Trainor) and "Worth It," featuring rapper Kid Ink. While backstage on Taylor Swift's 1989 world tour, Cabello wrote a duet with Canadian singer/songwriter Shawn Mendes. "I Know What You Did Last Summer" was released in November 2015 and immediately hit the Billboard Top 20. Fifth Harmony's sophomore set, 7/27, was issued in 2016, supported by a world tour and the hit single "Work from Home." That same year, a duet with rapper Machine Gun Kelly, "Bad Things," made its slow climb toward the top of the Billboard singles chart, garnering Cabello her first Top Ten song as a solo artist. Soon after, on December 18, Cabello announced her departure from Fifth Harmony. ~ Neil Z. Yeung

    K. Michelle was one of the frankest contemporary R&B artists of the late 2000s and 2010s. The singer and songwriter, a native of Memphis born Kimberly Michelle Pate, signed to Jive in 2008, releasing a pair of singles ("Self Made," "Fakin' It") that brushed the charts soon after. During 2010, "Fallin'" and "I Just Can't Do This" performed better on the R&B chart, and she also featured on tracks by R. Kelly, Juicy J, and Ruben Studdard. By 2012, she had signed to appear on the VH1 reality show Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, and she inked a contract with Atlantic soon after. Her debut album, Rebellious Soul, was released in August 2013 and debuted at number two on the Billboard 200. Two singles peaked outside the Top 20 of the R&B chart, but the singer later picked up a Soul Train award for Best New Artist. After a headlining tour, a stint opening for Robin Thicke, and a Rebellious Soul musical, directed by Idris Elba and aired on VH1, K. Michelle starred in another VH1 series, K. Michelle: My Life. Its first episode premiered a few weeks prior to the release of Anybody Wanna Buy a Heart?, her second Top Ten album of blunt yet imaginative storytelling. In March 2016, while K. Michelle: My Life was in its second season, she released her third album, More Issues Than Vogue. ~ John Bush

Raised in Dallas, Malone was NFL before he was NBA thanks to a father who worked for the Cowboys. He loved music from a young age, and planned on joining a band thanks to the video game Guitar Hero, but when his dad gave him a copy of Terror Squad's hit "Lean Back," Post decided to become an MC. He hung with Dallas crew the IRAS until a move to the West Coast dropped him in Los Angeles. After putting some braids in his hair, he coined the term "White Iverson," and when he posted the track in early 2015, he hit a million views within the month. Malone signed with the Republic label later that year. In 2016, he released the single "Go Flex" along with his official debut mixtape, August 26th, which was actually released in May. Rapping from an early age, his first mixtape was released in 2012 and various online singles followed as his profile grew. In 2015, his single "Blow a Check" broke through in a major way, with its massive radio airplay attracting the attention of a host of labels hungry to sign the young MC. DJStealth reacted to GreenHitz.com in Chris Brown Ft. Kodak Black A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie & Yo Gotti - Pills & Automobiles @chrisbrown
In November 2005, Chris Brown's Scott Storch-produced "Run It!" -- a rewrite of Usher's "Yeah!" -- topped the Billboard Hot 100, making the 16-year-old singer the first male artist in over a decade to achieve the feat with a debut single. While there was nowhere to go but down, at least in terms of chart positions, the pop-oriented R&B vocalist was only getting started. By the end of the decade, he was one of the biggest active pop stars, with a clutch of Top Ten singles and platinum albums to his credit, along with constant comparisons to Michael Jackson and several acting roles on the side. His momentum slowed little when, in 2009, he pleaded guilty to assaulting girlfriend Rihanna -- one of the year's biggest celebrity news stories. His commercial clout remained, as his successive albums regularly topped the Billboard all-genre and R&B charts.

Brown came from a small Virginia town called Tappahannock. Like a lot of kids born during the mid- to late '80s, he was initially into his parents' favorite music but eventually fell under the spell of hip-hop. Around the time he reached puberty, he discovered his singing ability and switched his focus away from MC'ing. A move to New York led to being discovered by Tina Davis, a Def Jam A&R executive who became the singer's manager shortly after losing her position to the Sony-BMG merger. The Jive label, due in part to its track record with younger artists who had established longevity (like Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake), won the bidding war for Brown and lined up several production and songwriting heavyweights, including Jermaine Dupri, Bryan-Michael Cox, Dre & Vidal, Sean Garrett, and Storch, for his self-titled first album. An immediate Top Ten hit when it was released in 2005, Chris Brown not only featured the number one "Run It!" but two other Top Ten singles in "Yo (Excuse Me Miss)" and "Say Goodbye." Exclusive, released in 2007 and a bit of a departure from the squeaky-clean image displayed throughout the debut, was even more successful, featuring the number one single "Kiss Kiss" and two other Top Five hits. Yet another Top Five hit came with "No Air," a duet with Jordin Sparks that appeared on Sparks' own self-titled album.

In March 2009, Brown was charged with felonious assault of Rihanna -- an altercation that had prevented his then-girlfriend from taking the stage at the Grammy Awards. Brown was scheduled to perform as well, but he did not appear and maintained a low profile for several months. A fairly substantial backlash resulted in Brown's songs being pulled from rotation on several radio stations. Ultimately, however, it had little bearing on the progress of his music and acting careers; the week prior to the December release of his third album, Graffiti, the single "I Can Transform Ya" was well on its way to reaching the Top 20 of the Hot 100, and his acting roles -- which had already included spots in Stomp the Yard and a recurring role on The O.C. -- hadn't shown any sign of drying up. Graffiti fell considerably short of gold-selling status, but it was nominated for a Grammy Award in the category of Best Contemporary R&B Album, and the Tank collaboration, "Take My Time," was nominated for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals.

Weeks after the 2011 Grammy Awards ceremony, Brown released his fourth album, F.A.M.E., which already had four singles on the charts. That album topped the Billboard 200 and the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop charts, and it also took the 2012 Grammy for Best R&B Album. During the ceremony, he performed a medley of "Beautiful People" (off F.A.M.E.) and "Turn Up the Music," the latter of which previewed Fortune, his fifth album, released in May 2012 and an immediate chart-topper in the U.S. Brown toured Asia, Europe, and Africa during the rest of the year, and prepped his sixth album. A sequence of several singles that began with "Fine China" preceded X, released in September 2014, two weeks after he pleaded guilty to simple assault (for an altercation with a man, which had occurred the previous October). Less inspired by European dance-pop and more R&B-oriented than his previous release, the album included contributions from Lil Wayne, R. Kelly, Usher, Rick Ross, and Brandy, among many others. Four of its singles peaked within the R&B Top 10. Only five months after the release of X, Brown and Tyga, who had previously teamed up for one of those singles -- "Loyal," as well as the earlier "Deuces" -- teamed up for Fan of a Fan: The Album. By the end of 2015, Brown released Royalty, his seventh proper album, which was propped up by the Top 20 pop hit "Back to Sleep." The following year, "Grass Ain't Greener" and "Party" preceded their early-2017 parent album, Heartbreak on a Full Moon. ~ Andy Kellman

This Hip Hop & R&B artist’s passion derives from his intense desire to spread truth and love through his artistry. His experiences growing up in the streets of West Los Angeles is a direct narrative of just that. At a very young age he knew music was the only career path he wanted to take and never deviated from that path. He began music as his own form of therapy and uses it as a platform to share his perception of truth to the world.

Keon Anderson, also known as “Keon” is a Detroit born rapper and songwriter.  Keon graduated from Grosse Pointe North High School and currently attends Grand Valley State University, studying mechanical engineering. It was there in college, Keon manifested his love for rap music. Keon was always into music and knew he had an ear for it and last year he decided to go for it.  Writing his first single “Rolling wit ya chick”, which he shocked his family with because no one knew the he had the voice or the talent for rapping. Keon showed the single to at least a hundred people and the response was unanimous, they all felt he had “mad potential and could go far”.
Growing up he was inspired by Biggie because he was such a versatile rapper. Biggie could make lyrically hype tracks while using his smooth flowing ability, “stay far from timid, only make moves when your heart is in it, and live the phrase, sky’s the limit” (Biggie Smalls) pretty much what Keon is aiming to do. Newer rappers that inspire him are artist like Future, Meek Mills, and Kendrick Lamar. When he officially enters the rap game, he wants to offer fans all types of music. This includes, making feel good music, club bangers, and real life experience tracks “I don’t write hits for myself, or for other artists, or just to be writing it. I write it because I was born to do this. I was given this gift and I’m making the most of my opportunity” (Future). He also wants to touch the youth in a diverse way, showing them that you can do whatever they dream of.  Never stop reaching for your dreams, and most importantly, put them into effect, “build your own pyramids, write your own hieroglyphs” (Kendrick Lamar).
While Keon was good at writing songs on his laptop, his manager introduced him to producers who familiarized him to the art of mixing hits. Being able to see his thoughts profoundly come to light through music, encouraged Keon to began working even harder on his rap career. He created new songs such as “Let me know” and “Grindin”. Grindin shows off his ability where he metaphorically compares “stomping hard on you” to “church folks catching the Holy Ghost” (Keon).  Keon will be starring in his first showcase at Bullfrog Bar & Grill on Monday, April 24, 2017.
Through his music he would like to give his fans tracks to party to but also hit them with wisdom. Letting them know that success is not measured by money and fame, but by hard work and integrity.  Keon plans on continuing his education while pursuing his rap career. He believes education is very important and does not want to quit school. He believes today’s youth has the ability to open up so many doors, but having a college degree gives them the skills and knowledge to walk through the open doors, “Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today” (Malcolm X).
