Track is tough..

I agree.....thats why I get mad at how certain promoters do business.Then second of all the djs they get SUCK.You wanna talk about research music...shit..I study music everyday no matter what.....when I was in college same thing..did clubs and house parties,cookouts ..u name it...and now tryna get $300-$500 out of people ..they look at u funny...and first thing I tell them is..if u don't believe the cost come check out why I'm in every club in the city and then they believe or get word of mouth.Believe I stand behind you on this one just like the last thread...thought I was the only one thinkin and angrily motivated to stop working wit alot of promoters.....

To set it straight...it deals with the love of music first off.Studying music to the point of knowing tempos and artists.How to blend and scratch...really scratch...and not tap the cue button.I don't see how effective a cue button can be.The mixtape game is corrupted cause now u got people just slapping music on a cd...spending hundreds of dollars to get covers done and say "I'm Dj ...whatever on the front wit a big name artist on the front"...it kills me. But REAL Djs...study music...they hone themselves to breaking new music in clubs and letting people know its NEW on the mic.And playing it consistently in the clubs...to change the scene of music.Also REAL Djs can all get into a Dj cypher (5 or more) and break down a song and flip it so many times on break beats and switch songs up and keep rotation going...been in this for 14 yrs and see cats gettin breaks tired of that shit...
