She grew up in Boca Raton, Florida where she attended North Broward Preparatory School. Grande made her acting debut in 2008, playing the role of Charlotte in 13 on Broadway. From 2010 to 2013, she played Cat Valentine on the Nickelodeon sitcom Victorious and later reprised the role on the spinoff Sam & Cat.

Amethyst Amelia Kelly (born 7 June 1990), better known by her stage name Iggy Azalea (/əˈzeɪljə/), is an Australian recording artist and model from Mullumbimby, New South Wales. She left for the United States at the age of 16, to pursue a career in hip hop music, first residing in Miami, Florida, and then other parts of the South, including Houston, Texas and Atlanta, Georgia. She first gained recognition after the respective music videos for her controversial songs "Pu$$y" and "Two Times" went viral on YouTube. Between 2011 and 2012, Azalea released two mixtapes, an EP executive produced by American rapper T.I. and went into professional modeling, when she became represented by Wilhelmina Models and was announced the "New Face of Levi Jeans". Also in 2012, Azalea became the first female and non-American rapper to be featured on XXL magazine's annual Top 10 Freshman cover issue.
After label conflicts, her debut studio album The New Classic was finally released on 21 April 2014. The album debuted inside the top five of several charts worldwide and was preceded by Azalea's commercial debut single "Work", the album's lead single which was followed by three other singles: "Bounce", "Change Your Life" (featuring T.I.) and "Fancy" (featuring Charli XCX). "Fancy" reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100, with Azalea becoming only the fourth solo female rapper ever to top the Hot 100. Additionally, with Azalea featured on Ariana Grande's single "Problem", which rose to number two on the Hot 100, the same week "Fancy" topped the chart, Azalea joined The Beatles as the only acts to rank at numbers one and two simultaneously with their first two Hot 100 hits. Moreover, Azalea passes Lil' Kim as the female rapper with the longest-leading #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and moves into a tie for fifth place among lead women who have scored the longest commands on the Hot 100 this decade.

Onika Tanya Maraj (born December 8, 1982), known by her stage name Nicki Minaj (/mɪˈnɑːʒ/), is an American[1] rapper, singer, songwriter and actress. Born in Saint James, Trinidad and Tobago and raised in Jamaica, Queens, New York, she gained public notability after releasing the mixtapes Playtime is Over (2007), Sucka Free (2008), and Beam Me Up Scotty (2009). Minaj subsequently signed a recording contract with Young Money Entertainment in 2009. Her debut studio album Pink Friday (2010) peaked at number one on the U.S. Billboard 200, and spawned the top-ten single "Super Bass". During its promotional campaign, Minaj became the first female solo artist to have seven singles simultaneously chart on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.
Minaj earned her second number-one record in the United States with her follow-up album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded (2012); its lead single "Starships" reached number five on the Billboard Hot 100, and stands as her highest-charting song in the United States. It was reissued as an expanded version subtitled The Re-Up several months following its initial launch. Minaj served as a voice actress in the animated film Ice Age: Continental Drift in 2012, appeared as a judge on the twelfth season of American Idol in 2013, and made her acting debut in the film The Other Woman in 2014. Her upcoming third studio album The Pinkprint (2014) is preceded by the singles "Pills n Potions" and "Anaconda".
Minaj is the first female artist included on MTV's Annual Hottest MC List, with The New York Times suggesting that some consider her "the most influential female rapper of all time". Her rapping is distinctive for its fast flow, use of alter egos and accents, notably British cockney. Her outlandish and colorful costumes, wigs and clothing have given her recognition as a fashion icon. In April 2013, Minaj became the most-charted female rapper in the history of the Billboard Hot 100, with over 44 appearances. She has endorsed Adidas, MAC Cosmetics and Pepsi. She has earned eight BET Awards, four American Music Awards, two MTV Music Awards, an MTV Europe Music Award, five Billboard Music Awards and Billboard's 2011 Rising Star award.

Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter (/biˈjɒnseɪ/ bee-yon-say) (born September 4, 1981) is an American singer-songwriter and actress. Born and raised in Houston, Texas, she performed in various singing and dancing competitions as a child, and rose to fame in the late 1990s as lead singer of R&B girl-group Destiny's Child. Managed by her father Mathew Knowles, the group became one of the world's best-selling girl groups of all time. Their hiatus saw the release of Beyoncé's debut album, Dangerously in Love (2003), which established her as a solo artist worldwide; it sold 11 million copies, earned five Grammy Awards and featured the Billboard Hot 100 number-one singles "Crazy in Love" and "Baby Boy".
Following the disbandment of Destiny's Child in 2005, she released her second solo album, B'Day (2006), which contained hits "Déjà Vu", "Irreplaceable", and "Beautiful Liar". Beyoncé also ventured into acting, with a Golden Globe-nominated performance in Dreamgirls (2006), and starring roles in The Pink Panther (2006) and Obsessed (2009). Her marriage to rapper Jay-Z and portrayal of Etta James in Cadillac Records (2008) influenced her third album, I Am... Sasha Fierce (2008), which saw the birth of her alter-ego Sasha Fierce and earned a record-setting six Grammy Awards in 2010, including Song of the Year for "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)". Beyoncé took a hiatus from music in 2010 and took over management of her career; her fourth album 4 (2011) was subsequently mellower in tone, exploring 1970s funk, 1980s pop, and 1990s soul. Her fifth studio album, Beyoncé (2013), was critically acclaimed and was distinguished from previous releases by its experimental production and exploration of darker themes.
A self-described "modern-day feminist", Beyoncé's songs are often characterized by themes of love, relationships, and monogamy, as well as female sexuality and empowerment. On stage, her dynamic, highly choreographed performances have led to critics hailing her as one of the best entertainers in contemporary popular music. Throughout a career spanning 16 years, she has won 17 Grammy Awards and sold over 75 million records as a solo artist, and a further 60 million with Destiny's Child making her one of the best-selling music artists of all time. The Recording Industry Association of America recognized Beyoncé as the Top Certified Artist in America during the 2000s decade. In 2009, Billboard named her the Top Radio Songs Artist of the Decade, the Top Female Artist of the 2000s and their Artist of the Millennium in 2011. In 2014, she ranked atop of Forbes' Celebrity 100 and became the highest-paid black musician in history. She was included in Time magazine's list of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2013 and 2014.
