  5. Kendrick and Cameron Greenidge (born January 20, 1988) better known as New Money Menace and Hot Boy Hooligan (K.O BOYZ) are up and coming rappers from Dallas, TX. Born in Dallas, to Spencer and Nora Greenidge, the young parents were determined to make life seem easier for their four children, but low income and opportunities seemed to only make it more difficult as the family jumped from location to location, trying to find a place to call home. The family finally relocated to Irving, TX just in time to start an education and a new life. Despite the family’s hardships, the twins took an early shining to music, recording their first freestyle when they were only 9 years old on their grandmother’s recorder. When they were 15, their older brother started to recognize their talent and uniqueness, and eventually put them in his rap group, TNN. From there, TNN went on to flood the community and high schools with mixtapes and freestyles, quickly making a name for themselves in Irving. By the time they attended their sophomore year at Macarthur High School, the twins were known throughout their community as the “K.O Boyz” known for their witty punchlines and word play off of one another. At a young age, they were already performing at venues like Nairobi’s and Club Blue, opening up for artist like Rick Ross, Pimp C, and Paul Wall. Kendrick and Cameron’s father soon observed both of his son’s drive and the effect that the “K.O Boyz” had on the community, and decided to use his own money to help promote them and book studio time, making their buzz in Dallas even greater. Now in their early 20’s after several mixtapes and performances, the K.O Boyz feel like they are finally ready to put their stamp on the New Dallas Texas Movement and change it forever……” Follow @koboyz on twitter! http://www.myspace.com/koboyz http://www.reverbnation.com/koboyz http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/KO-Boyz-Official/240587322649801?sk=info http://www.datpiff.com/KO-Boyz-Polo-Lacoste-mixtape.231756.html Download KO Boyz Ft. 6. Oaktown’s 357; Sweet L.D., Lil’ P, and Terrible T, were the background dancers for M.C. Hammer. Soon after performing locally and across the country they were given the opportunity to show off another one of their talents, Rapping. Hammer was looking to produce a Female Rap group that could also dance. He was struck with the idea to produce his background dancers once he heard Lil’ P playfully rapping a Salt n’ Pepa tune, Tramp during a rehearsal. Oaktown’s 357 recorded and released two albums, “Wild and Loose” and “Fully Loaded”. Although Lil’ P left before the filming of the video to their single Yeah Yeah Yeah from the Wild and Loose album, Terrible T and Sweet L.D. continued to carry the torch and making the group successful and well received with audiences as far as Japan. Terrible T and Sweet L.D. were released from their record and management contract with Bust It Records/Management in 1990. After twenty years the group has reunited with the members Lil’ P and Sweet L.D. picking up where Terrible T and Sweet L.D. left off. Much to the delight of the ladies, their fan base is still established, interested and very supportive of the ladies performing and touring again. Sweet L.D. and Lil’ P have recently released their single “Get Up On It”, available on iTunes and Amazon Mp3. “Get Up On It” is also in frequent rotation on College & online radio stations. 15. T.W.I.N. - "Lil' Nip" and his twin brother "Fus" were born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. At the young age of 13, their love for music led them and some friends to begin a D.J. group. After performing a few parties and producing mix tapes for locals, the members went their separate ways. The group may have died but "Fus" and "Lil' Nip's" passion for music, especially hip-hop music is still alive. They decided to create the rap duo T.W.I.N. (True Wisdom Intelligence & Notoriety) under their rising independent label Combined Minds Entertainment. Lil' Nip -"In order to lead an orchestra, you must turn your back on the crowd." Conscious and laid back with an "I've been through it all" attitude best describes "Lil' Nip". Stemming from his quote, he strongly believes in originality, which is displayed in both his lyrics and appearance. As a rap artist "Lil' Nip" brings mind-boggling lyrics to the group T.W.I.N that stimulate thought in the listeners. This young brother has a lot to say and will be heard. Through music he and his brother "Fus" represent "life" by sharing their visions and experiences of the world we live in. Fus -A member of the rap duo T.W.I.N., says he is on a mission, and isn't leaving until his mission is complete. "Fus" quotes, "We gotta grab our seeds 'cause their souls bleed. My main objective is to reach the youth". Through his lyrics, "Fus" plans to enlighten those on the realities of life as he has learned and experienced it. "I don't regret none of the stuff I did growin' up, negative or positive, 'cause it made me into the man I am today. I was worshipin' and chasin' the wrong thangs and did what I had to do to get it. I was blind. I wanna remove that blind fold from the eyes of the gitts(kids) runnin' the streets today", "Fus" explains. Now doesn't that say it all! http://www.datpiff.com/Combined-Minds-Ent-presents-TWIN-GLOWGoo-GLOW-Good-Life-Of-Wealth-mixtape.265252.html http://WWW.COMBINEDMINDS.COM http://FACEBOOK.COM/FUSNNIP http://YOUTUBE.COM/COMBINEDMINDS http://REVERBNATION.COM/FUSNNIP Download T.W.I.N. - Stay N My Lane Main mp3 Download T.W.I.N. - Like Me Main mp3 Download T.W.I.N. - Undapresha Main mp3 Download T.W.I.N. - On My Way Main mp3 Download T.W.I.N. - Not A Rap Song Main mp3 Contact: 678-974-8192 / fusnnip@bellsouth.net
  16. LeS bLeSd is a new world artist who is building a buzz around the globe in the Hip Hop scene, one song at a time. Born, Lester "Doneal" Bourage, Jr in Meridian, Mississippi he would eventually move to his new home in Los Angeles,CA at a very young age to discover and develop his passion as an artist. At the age of 13 LeS bLeSd knew that he did not only want to be a rapper, but one of the greats. LeS bLeSd's efforts as an unsigned artist have since earned him collaborations with artists such as Freck the Billionaire of Sizzle Records/StreetFam(Fabolous' Label) including a recent project with Italy's number one hip hop artist Duke Montana. Since his return to the states in 2011 he has recently began working with some heavy hitters such as Andre "Dre" Knight who has done production for Snoop Dogg, Frank Ocean, 50 Cent & Far East Movement. Another producer who has done work for the likes of T-Pain, Chris Brown, etc named Superstar O currently produced the unreleased single "Hands On Ya Knees" also featuring new artist Huey F., which is sure to be a hit as it is already making noise and currently being shopped around by long time industry professional Charlie Mac after critiquing the track. Recently, LeS bLeSd landed a spot on the lineup for THE UNSIGNED TOUR 2012 which is a global concert event exposing the best unsigned talent in multiple genres. There are few urban artists who are truly dedicated, passionate, skilled and business savvy enough to prove their worth in today's entertainment industry but this is an unsigned artist to watch for. As he would state he is: "Not waiting for the best opportunities, but creating them.". The industry definitely needs to take a close look and listen to this new star child of hip hop, LeS bLeSd. 17. In his native hometown of Monroe, Louisiana, and throughout the south, Big Hoot has created nothing short of a movement. Terrance "Big Hoot" DeGrate started his rap career beat-boxing with his uncle when he was only 6 years old. "My uncle was killed when I was about 12 years old and since then I've been head first in this game." Now the world will get to find out what insiders have been buzzing about since his Grind to Shine debut, "King of the City" dropped in Fall 2005. The streets responded by snatching up his album by the truckload. Hoot has gone on to drop several mixtapes; Jay and The Phatmann - What the Streetz Wants, The Leak, Blue Macic: Good Product for the Low, and added verses on several of his 672 Ent label compilations; We Are The Streetz - The Flood Edition, Big Stoke - Hood Dreams, E-Dash The KillaMan - Live From B.A. etc. But now that he has a following, Hoot is ready to reel them in with his next mixtape, " Class Act: The Mixtape". Hoot's lyrics show his childhood hardships in his life and the dark side of Monroe. “A lot of the cats I came up with I've lost or they're doing time in the federal penitentiary,” he says. “That’s why I do music--for the struggle.” "So many celebrity rap artists set it off for all of the people popping cris [champagne], people riding on 23's and living in gated or isolated cribs, but Hootie says, "My music is for all of my people in the hood who watched me grow up. They have to feel me first, before anybody else feels me." "My music ain't gangsta rap because I ain't no gangsta. I'm a hood nigga that makes hood-hop," he concludes. "It deals with trap niggas, dope boys, ladies in the club, ballers and I even got something for the old heads." Follow @bighootie on twitter! www.twitter.com/teambayoumgmt Download Big Hoot Ft.
