Location: Monroe, LA Download Now: http://www.zshare.net/audio/64089248d7bdc612/ 672 Ent. Louisiana's 672 Entertainment started in the notorious Monroe neighborhood of Bryant Additions; know for its griminess, drugs, and crime. Three brothers saw something's others couldn't, a wealth of talent brewing in their troubled neighborhood. Day after day, they watched their neighborhood piers get trapped in the criminal system, and finally decided to do something about it. The trio figured that music would be a better way to channel their energy, so they decided to put their minds and their money together, and invested in a more lucrative business. They started with a simple in house studio, piecing together the studio equipment as they received money to afford it. In 2002, they formed the music label Grind to Shine Records, and dropped their first project, Grindaholics featuring Big Hoot, Jake, Lil Dee, Stoke, Mike Lo, Lil Brother, Nate, and CEO Koo Lu. From 2002 to 2005, the label worked to refine its image and continued to organize their efforts to attack the music industry. With the strengthen of Hoot as the lyrist, the label decided to push Hoot as their first major project. The King of the City dropped in 2005 and featured label mates Bad Luck and CEO Koo Lu. During this time, shows, articles and radio spins started coming their way. In November of 2006, FBI raided the GTS studios and took the CEO into custody and seized all of the equipment; a major setback for a label beginning to reap its hard work. Federal agents later took down the second brother, leaving only one to fend for the label. The music came to a stand still due to the convocation of the equipment. Hoot was featured on songs here and there but was unable to follow up with a solo project. Hoot's second project, Hood Living, which was halfway done, when it was leaked to the public. The record company was rejuvenated, now under the name 672 Entertainment, by hosting parties and selling plates, raising money in order to get the studio. Today, 672 Entertainment has reorganized and pushed to be a powerhouse in the music industry. As a kid, Jordache would frequently travel back and forth between Louisiana and Texas. One of his earliest memories was when he met OG Ron C at the age of seven while being in Dallas. After returning from Texas around the age of fourteen, Jay started freestyling with his neighborhood friends, Terrance "Big Hoot" Degrate and Derrick "Welfare" Williams, who were also into the music. The crew would go on to form a group called R-E-A-L. Jordache states that B.M.C. was also one of his earliest influences, being that they were one of rap groups from Monroe that were making moves. During high school, Jay took time off from the music to focus on a thriving basketball career, where he received numerous awards and scholarships. During his off seasons, he would find time to join his group, R-E-A-L to perform at the local talent shows. After high school, Jordache left to play basketball at Cedar Valley Community College for a year. Due to finance reasons, Jake decided to come back home in time to lay a verse for the Big Hoot's classic street album "King of the City" in 2004 but his verses didn't make the album due to technical problems. Despite the setback, he stayed faithful to the label, the music and the hood. "I'm rapping about what I see and goes down in my hood. I feel that the music is away out of my current situation. After the birth of my son, I feel like I really had to focus on this music to get out of these streets." This past year, the self per claimed Swagg City Big Dawg, added his sauve memorizing flows to the Boot Up Click and Hoot street collaboration, "The Leak." Jordache and Hoot's current project "What the Streetz Want" is slated to drop in May 2009. Jordache also has verses on upcoming projects "The Swagg Kings," "BA is An Army," and "Swagg City Unleashed."

From the top, to the bottom, and on his way back to the top again, Fat Ratt has seen and experienced everything the street life has to offer. Originally raised in the church, life on the blocks of north Louisiana served as a detour to the path Fat Ratt was destined for and eventually landed him in jail. While in incarcerated, Fat Ratt took the pain and struggles that engulfed his life and channeled them into words. Soon after, those words birthed a desire for rap, music and change that led to a new foundation for his life. When Fat Ratt returned to his east Monroe neighborhood of Booker T, he had a plan and a purpose. He assembled at team musicians, artists and producers and formed the record label Rat Trap Entertainment. "In my mind, life is one big trap. Either you dodge it or you get caught in it, and it seemed that I dodged the trap and got caught all at the same time," says Fat Ratt. "Now I feel like I can set my own trap and see if I can catch a better life for my people and me." In 2005, Fat Ratt dropped "Country Boys on tha Grind," selling about 6,000 copies from his house and trunk. Six month after opening Roe City Connections, he dropped "Still Grindin." In a north Louisiana market that
