You know how promoters are. They are going to buy the cheapest dj if they can get away with it. Skills don't matter especially if the crowd don't care about the mixing quality. Now if you produce your own tracks as well as mix then you might be in for some higher pay. I'd like to get $250-$300 for a night but the area I live in is not that big on the dj thing so basically it's wide open for me to play with.The pay is lower than say doing a $150/hour rave, but I don't have to travel as far either. The key to promoters is how many people you can bring to the show. If you bring as much as the free dj then they will take the free dj in most cases...

Beats , delivery, whatever...pretty much sick......Jay Z comes with it as usual... It's weird cuz only one regular at the club I spin at asks for Jay Z. No one else really cares about him...

Oh son!!! This one reminds me of "Like A Pimp". Nice hittin hard and the hook works in perfect...The music alone brings the heat....!!! I'll have to do a test run on the backwoods folk up here.......should go over pretty good.....

Eh....Souljahboy was never really that good in my opinion and putting Wayne on the remix doesn't help. Souljah's delivery sounded like he just wrote the song and decided to make a practice tape and the hook sounds like shit to me with his sing song vocal style... The beat is okay really, nothing all that special, kind of like he wanted a club banger but fell just short of making it proper. I still give him props for droppin tunes cuz he has some good stuff out there, I just wasn't feeling this one too much......

Trying to change things up show a little versatility. Someone requested this last week at the club but I didn't play it. I just didn't get to it in time besides the fact that it's a rock song that would have thrown off the vibe that I was moving with. I might drop it early this week if I remember. It's an okay song for the most part, I haven't really paid attention to the lyrics yet. Bouncy , funky, stuff.......pretty good. Busta has always been pretty versatile with his songs. A lot of rappers lack that quality......

May not go over too well where I play because the beat lacks the 808 sounds that a lot of people dig as opposed to the snares and circus type music...I'll test it out but I was never an Em or 50 fan that much anyway....

I didn't really like this song when I first heard it cuz I'm tired of hearing the "Champagne" drop in every song out there. I like when the beat kicks in though. It's put together good. The Ying Yang Twins ain't nothing but an upgrade of the Two Live Crew. I know some of you are like who is 2 Live Crew? It's all fun though so I'll give it props...cuz I can bounce to it and feel good doing it....
