Better known as Triple D TX.J-slim has been rapping since the tender age of ten but didn�t start to take his God given talent seriously until his release from prison early 2007 on a 3year sentence J-slim then links up with his cousin EQ who introduces him to T.J. HOOKS and his group Couple Grand but creative differences later forced the group to part ways leaving J-slim back at square one. He didn�t let that stop him though, late 2008 he�s introduced to a local producer named BASTRIX by his friend Prince of Couple Grand and records a couple songs such as DO IT LIKE THAT and WHAT IT IS SHAWTY that did pretty good in the ring tone market. Then tragedy struck J-slim life in mid 2010 he lost his mother, uncle, and close friend which made him question if he wanted to continue to pursue a career in music, But a phone call from his younger brother persuaded him to continue pursing a career in music and sharing with the world his God given talent. Signing with IMMA MAKE YOU FAMOUS ENT. In summer of 2010 headed by CEO R-sin J-slim hit�s the studio again linking up once again with producer BASTRIX he bangs out his latest hit single SHE GOTTA EARTHQUAKE inspired by long time friend IKON MASHAN the song is heavy on internet, satellite Sirius XM and College radio rotation along with Fm stations in EUROPE GERMANY,AND ITALY receiving 246 or more spins a week also charting in the top 30 for Urban hip hop for internet and satellite.
