Her genre-bending style is a seamless fusion of R&B, soul, jazz and pop which sounds new, yet also familiar. From the age of nine, Jolene Jade was creating dance routines in her living room and mimicking music videos and tv shows. Jolene maintains an approach that feels observant, composed, and somewhat unaffected. Baring her scars, Jolene is a mesmerising storyteller; titled ‘a modern-day Billie Holiday’ and ‘the future of UK Soul’. The song is called 'Cold Heart' and it explores the anxious-avoidant attachment style and emotional unavailability within Gen Z. The video is shot in a 4:3 aspect ratio with a Super 8mm film finish to give it an intimate, vintage/nostalgic feel.
