Sunflower Pop: Jaz Beeson makes music for golden-hour road trips and twirling through daisy dappled fields. With dream-haze harmonies floating on top of punchy acoustic production, her music is made for coming-of-agers and cottagecore daydreamers. From Lincolnshire, Jaz finds herself most at peace among the marshlands and wide-open skies. Her feathery vocals and conversational lyrics draw comparison to Phoebe Bridgers, Maisie Peters and Lauren Aquilina.

After a fulfilling couple of years, playing festivals in 2019 such as Humber Street Sesh and Outfields, Jaz spent 2020 curating her signature sunflower sound, sharing works in progress on Soundcloud while locked down in Lincolnshire in her childhood home. Since playing tunes at writers rounds across London, including ICMP’s Songwriter Circle with Orla Gartland in November, and Good Girl’s Don’t’s A Gig From Home, Jaz is already making waves in another brilliant year. After earning Song of the Week on BBC Radio Lincolnshire with her pop debut Wanna Know, Jaz took her song to fans across the world, on playlists such as The Sound of University Lincoln, and Sesh Music Friday.

Feel Alive is the second single from Jaz Beeson, combining delicate pop sensibility with drums that pack a punch. Following on from the airy pastel hues of Wanna Know, Feel Alive is the older sister who’s trying to find her way in life, navigating minimum wage jobs, nights at the pub and defining where life is going next. Jaz has been working with The Pylons drummer and producer Joey Walker to create the perfect sonic cocktail to accompany your next road trip. Feel Alive comes out on Friday 16th April across all platforms.
