The Gangsta Players musical armory centers around in-house produced tracks and vivid rhymes which reflect their southern lifestyle and demeanor. With this combination, the Gangsta Players are sure to produce good urban/mainstream hip-hop music for years to come. The Gangsta Players are set to independently release their new album Da Love of Money Chpt. 1 in Summer 2009 on their own record label Skyline Muzik Group. It consists of well put together songs which tell of the good and bad times of southern living and the environment they live in. With beats from an eclectic production team appropriately name 11st Musik, the Da Luv of Money gives off a sound not typical to the traditional Houston Screw flava while still maintaining a southern feel.
