In 1980 Armik was forced to leave the country, because "after the revolution in Iran, music was banned." The attraction to music and interest in the guitar Armik showed at an early age, and by 12 years, he has emerged as a fully professional guitarist. The original musical career Armik was associated mainly with jazz. In 70 years, he often traveled to Spain where he played together with different guitarists and mastered their experience and style of play. Here Armik opened the beauty of flamenco and he became one of the most passionate fans and promoters of this trend. Since 1981, Armik lives in Los Angeles. In 1994, Armik released his debut solo album "Rain Dancer". This and followed it in 1995, the second album "Gypsy Flame", immediately received rave reviews from music critics and brought guitarist first serious commercial success. Soon Armik's reputation as a great performer of flamenco music is so firmly established that the famous Spanish master of stringed instruments Pedro Maldonado took for him to produce a guitar called "Rubia". It is on this guitar Armik released his next album, named in her honor, "Rubia" (1996). Now the collection of Armik several guitars of the wizard, as well as other well-known Spanish guitar masters such as Conde Hermanos, but the preference he gives all the same guitars Maldonado. The following year, Armik gave fans their fourth album, "Malaga", and in May 1999 recorded the fifth - "Isla del Sol" ("The Island of the Sun") with amazing flamenco melodies and tropical rhythms of the Caribbean. Assessing his guitar style Armik says that this compound flamenco and jazz with Latin rhythms.
