Born and raised in Philadelphia, her career in entertainment began as a child, modeling and acting. Upon moving to Southern California, Mik quickly booked several commercials and landed a recurring role on NYPD Blue. Since receiving a BA in Cognitive Science from UC Berkeley, Mik has achieved commercial and print success in campaigns for Sony, AT&T, 24 Hour Fitness and ProActiv, in addition to a multitude of roles for Film & TV. She most recently shot a national commercial for Bank of America. Musically, Mik delivers sassy-chic, rapping in a melodic bravado over hard hitting pop beats. She is a true lyricist, relying on character and intellect, presenting a rare example of the female MC. Mik is currently working with Genius Music promoting the single “Let’s Werk” from her forthcoming solo album.
