  5. Learned a lot from these posts....ive been using vdj for a while but just push button, started off when 8 tracks and cassettes were out so you know im liking the turntables gettin back in rotation....i have serato on my hp since some of the clubs i work at has it in the booth and i feel like im actually doin work when i use serato, vdj i usually have one hand in my pocket punchin buttons which is boring (speaking as a vet dj that doesnt have an interface to go along with the programs yet) i recently decided just to save up and get serato since lately i have been putting my sound system together. vdj works with serato box but there is a lot of resetting to do to get it working with no latency, torq i have worked on and its a real nice program, a little choppy but fix the latency and your all good, cdjs are good and i like them but nothing beats that vynil and a good pair of 1200s, bad thing abou those is you have to keep good needles and time coded vynil handy....i hate sync buttons and the djs we have in the gulf coast think they are the hottest cause they using virtual dj with no other equipment, (button pushers) thats all fine and dandy but if you take the craft serious, learn to work with other equipment, ive been doin this since 85 and im still learning but i know alot also....id spend my money on torq or serato cause ive used those and like them both, vdj i use if they have no tables/interface until i get my own set up, got 4 1200s waiting to be warmed up just gotta get the interface and the timecodes and im ready....thanks for all the advice on here and i will continue to check back and see whats new
