Sound Said Look

Sound Said Look is a solo project by Trever Leamon (USA), a musician, vocalist, songwriter and producer, that’s known for his experimental style that covers a diverse variety of genres that combine aspects of Alternative Hiphop, Rap Music, Electronica, UK Garage, Glitch, DnB into a unique and big sound. Separately, and rarely combined with the above, he experiments with fusing elements of Classic Rock, Alternative Rock, and Heavy Metal with Pop and Industrial Electronic themes.

Currently signed with Bentley Records® for a one album project titled, Brain Stem, due for release late 2021. Aside from Bentley, SSL releases music through distributor, UnitedMasters®. In February of 2020, his debut single, Keep Running, was licensed by UM and 2KBeats, later that year to be featured on the NBA2K21 NextGen In-game Soundtrack. Later that month, he released his debut album, Sight Sounds, which was written during the Lockdown that year.  
 

Trever says about Sight Sounds, “It has 21 records on it and I think each one is epic. It’s more like a mixed tape that was poorly mastered as an album, but individually, each holds its own. I’d take that album against any other in a Producer’s Contest, and win at least a few rounds. It’s not fluid, and I’m all over the place because that period of time was very confusing and scary. Personally, it’s a DJ’s dream album. It Starts Today should be famous - and yeah… it should be. But I already did the hard work, because each record is so layered and a journey, that it gives them a lot of latitude and material, but more importantly, my beats sound remixed already.”
