Chris Sunfield is a new figure on the Canadian music scene who will confidently defy labels. His songs bridge several genres such as progressive pop, symphonic pop, and epic pop, and often show classical and ambient stylings. He writes and arranges all songs, sings, and plays all guitars and keyboards. And then there's the lyrics. In a world where many songs are not meant to be ‘read’, Sunfield's poetics will explore thought-provoking, existential, and cosmological issues. Chris has only recently reinvented himself as a recording artist after decades of working in another occupation and suppressing his artistic side. Not surprisingly, themes of re-awakening and authenticity permeate some of his future singles and EP’s.
