Introducing Matt Hollidaye, the DJ/host/blogger/whichever-title-you-want-to-put that you may (or may not) know about. Not really much to say here, except that he's been doing this since September 2009; first, as the overnight/weekend jock at college radio station WCRD in Muncie, and then as a freelance DJ in July 2012 (so that makes it almost 10 years in the music "industry" in some aspect)

In terms of where he got his start, like most DJs, the journey began at a New Years Eve house party in December of 2012. From there, he's literally done a lot, including launching a mix series (first on Soundcloud, then on Mixcloud and, currently, on Audiomack; and formerly on Mixcrate before they shut down) with genres ranging from Hip-Hop to Top 40, R&B to Electronica and some others in between; spinning and hosting parties in and around the Metro Detroit area at places such as Club 928, Studio 51, The Woodward Cocktail Lounge, the Tom Phillips Post, Jaguar Gentlemen's Club, Studio 51 and more; and even spinning on online radio since 2014 (formerly known as the now-infamous #TheVanillaMochaMixx)

What you may not know; he's also an up-and-coming blogger focusing on current events, pop culture, sports and wrestling. His claim to fame; a nine-part series called The Morning Rush (click on the Notes tab on this page to see it) and, more recently, contributions with Metro Rise entitled #PressPlay, to moderate success on both ends of the spectrum
