Asher Ray

Growing up listening to radio and around music, being the founder of Rehab Fam (Rehabilitation Family) and trying his hands at Rap, decided to do something different.

At just 17 Asher started street promoting fliers, posters, and sticker campaigning for record labels, (before street teams) biggest projects being ' My name is ' Slim shady/ Eminem and 'They don't know' 702 before joining label Jive records and promoting such artists as R.Kelly.

Formally Organiszer, (Of the Rehab Fam) Asher became a well known street promoter in Birmingham promoting big established nights such as Grahams and Charmers, before starting his own self taught Djing Career and style of mixing and dropping.

Eventually playing in club on a Sunday night alongside Dj's @ Bizzie lizzies 

Asher started playing at many different venues in and around the Birmingham region including, Porche club (on Onyx Sound), Orleans night club, Bizzie Lizzies, Heroes, Mc Cluskey's and today playing at such venues as Suga suite, Mono Bar, GateCrasher & Zaras amongst others.

He has experienced Pirate radio Via Flava fm originally doing Wednesday 12 - 3 am Hip hop and Soul mix up, and also internet radio/Community Radio Big City 89.1. Onyx Sound Radio 2015 - 2016

After being introduced to, joined Atlantic street team and was a member/ former Birmingham Street Team Head, promoting such artists as Missy Elliot, Brandy, Fabolous, Angie Matinez, Wiz Khalifa....
Craig David, Kano, Estelle but to name a few

Has also done interviews, met and took part in Album/Single launch parties as well as been to many artists concerts in and around the country.

Now working alongside and as part of business team 'Sweet R&B'
