  4. cool record...need to extend the content beyond decatur to get that nationwide hood appear for this record to become a street anthem
  5. Pay Attention!!! nowhere did i mention anything about new djs...i did say lame ass djs!!! lemme break it down for you since you have no substance to your argument and sound like youre new to this shyt. Definition of a lame dj (real examples) --proclaimng to be a dj because you have a few hit songs on a laptop you downloaded from the internet and using windows media player the play the songs without a mixer or real dj applications. --talking at the end of each song while trying to locate another song to play during dead air, ya azz is lame. --using software that mix songs for you...hahaaa, ya azz is lame. --playing new songs from another dj's mixtape because you dont have any new music...real djs dont do that shyt unless you are affiliated with that person. --the inability to mix songs with consistancy for more than 10 minutes...continous breaks in music...constantly playing the same song 2 or more times an hour. --working for virtally nothing in order to get your foot in the door. --the bulk of your crowd is sitting down the majority of the time instead of on the dance floor, your azz is lame. --not understanding what kind of dj you are makes you lame...to you dumb f*ckz who dont know there is a difference...learn your craft. --if youre getting constant request for different songs, ya azz is lame especially if your audience is bringing music for you to play because they know you dont have it...if youre done your job well you wouldnt get many request except from late arrivals who missed songs you played earlier. --envious ppl, hustlers, bootleggers, fakes, & any other muthaf*ckers calling themselves djs and who are only in this shyt just for the money or women...all you bastards are lame. --if you cant go a minimum of four hours without playing the same songs over & over, personally i think you are lame. --associate yourself with a dj crew cause you cant stand on your own. --groupie azz muthaf*ckers who always trying to take pictures with artist like they know them or theyre the reason the artist is there...lame. get the picture...just to mentioning a few lame azz characteristics, now im moving on. ive already crawled...i taught my own self without tutorials from youtube and the internet...from the bedroom to house parties to college and the club scene i was rocking four plus hours solo, straight mixing, blending, bridging songs before most niggaz thought of developing the talent...while every dj around me was running off two channel mixers i was rocking a four to six channel spinning vinyl and cds...technology has never phased me...ive always been on top of my shyt...if youre using Scratchlive, youre probably using a proposed feature in SSL 1.9 i submitted with designs last year. http://scratchlive.net/forum/discussion/?discussion_id=98035#new obviously you dont know what youre talking about when i comes to live bands...in most instances live bands play other ppl music just like a djs except they use instruments...ive freestyled with live bands and received bigger responses from their audience than they received the whole time they played...so for me personally hell yeah i figure my pay should be consistant with some live band especially with they draw 30-50 people then there's a line of 300 plus lined at the door waiting for band to get off the stage and me to come on...i can see you making that arguement if i was unproven or proven but couldnt draw a crowd...not applicale my case. f*ck any muthaf*cka who dont possess the skills necessary to rock a party...just because you have a big ego, think you got swag with a handful of new music dont make ya azz a dj...if you are new then you need to be on top of your game understand the art of what we do...you should be bring talent to the table and dont ride another dj's coat tail, that a groupie...if thats what you are than thats how im going to treat you...most of all, dont be one of the jealous people who are envious of how my audience responsed to me...ive crafted that shyt from years of practice and understanding the importance of what makes my audience happy. im tired of you lame wack azz muthaf*ckaz trying to look the part of a dj...f*ck dat shyt!!! play the part as if you were born into the dj class before 2000...we truly had to dig in crates to get our music and we knew how to select hits...we didnt play music just because some artist was our friends or popped in off the street...we scouted it hard...if we thought i was hot we broke it...we were competitive with new music and understood how to make correct judgment on what was hot...a lot of you new cats make decision because you are groupies...you love music but your intentions arent true to the dj game...most of the time your just looking for somewhere to fit in like we are some greek fraternaty or you trying to build an image to f*ck some chick cause you like how they jock real djs. i will continue to say this shyt, "if it wasn't for mp3 and the internet 75% of the muthaf*ckaz claiming to be djs would not be in the game today if you had to pay for your own music or depend on record company promoters (who knew who the real talent) like most djs had to before 2003." the only influence technology had on the situation is it allowed so many people access to music who does not possess the talent to legitimately claim the title dj but they did so anyway. as far as my plan, it worked and still work...competitively ive assisted three club go out of business and watched some recent club loose eventully...even when the club owner attracted people to their clubs the people didnt spend money because the djs were lame, f*cking up the atmosphere doing some of the same shyt like ive stated above. until you have gotten some real experience under you belt djing and promoting beyond the city/region you live to understand what we are talking about, keep that bullshyt to yourself cause youre boring me. and learn to interpret what you read before you make a statement completely off base of what i posted...ReaL
