true or false technic's and other turntable manufacture should get on thier knee and thank serato and traktor for reviving intrest in turn table couple years back cd turntable were all the rave you would see 1200 collecting dust on dj stands. you could buy a tech 1200 for little over 300 bucks, dam if you haggled they would throw in the second one for free. now they clocking upwards of $600. they've changed nothing on them in years. i guess it's the art of supply and demand. that y it surprise me to see pioneer cdj 800 and 1000 still so expensive when they have 850's 900's 2000's already selling in stores

you need to load the driver for you os. its on the first page of the instructions and you have to do it for each usb port

let me weigh in on this . i had torq and i just could not get use to it not playing when i hit play, its a split second pause. they told me it was my pc and the amd pro. i needed more memory so i jus gave it away. left a bitter taste in my mouth. two years later borrowed a friend serato just to see on the same pc and it worked jus like my cdj's. i didnt even ajust the buffer or anything, it a dream. i was sold bought one the next day . tractor and mixvibbs mite be good i could'n tell you, but serato is GREAT as far as i know. don't buy into the hype that you need a mac either. i'm using vista home basic and one gig of mem. just needed to turn off virus protection when spinning. everybody can't be wrong
