hell I read a dj wanting to come to Alabama to make money.. SHIT'S TOO CROWDED in the city of Montgomery. I can't Imagine what Birmingham looks like and they much bigger and have Metropolitan surrounding cities. Here it's college Party based and there are 7 dj's to feed about 4-5 CLUBs on thurs-sat. Hell i'm New to promoting myself but 150 is my limit for 3 hours using basic set up. PPL fail to think that gas,equipment,skill,and time has to be accounted for. I got underbid for a damn Block Party... hell I was testing the guy to see what he would try to haggle me down to. he didn't even try. THIS 1 dj coming from a bullshit 2 club town and moving in on the Big city territory and making folk have empty nights. Promoters suck too.. i dj for all even gay nights.. and they claiming they don't make any money handing u 50 bucks...WTF MAN?!?!?, I if i dropped my hard drive.. then i have to have money to replace it.. 150.00 won't even take care of 1 blown speaker...or my cell phone...
