With two hits already under his belt (‘College Girl’ featuring Gorilla Zoe , and ‘Labels’ ) Grind City recording artist Melodic is proving that he is a force within the industry and here to stay. With his unique style of creating music rapping and singing, writing was an outlet for him to express himself it began with poetry and making beats all at the age of eleven. The struggles that he had gone through caused him to be able to express who he was through the pen. So music became a weapon and music came naturally. Hip-hop became a refuge, a channel to portray the everyday struggles of the street life. Inspired by rappers such as 2Pac, Dj Screw, Scarface, UGK, Biggie, Jay Z, and several Underground Legends. Through his music he’s able to draw from experiences on the street and turn it into something positive . This authenticity is a characteristic that few can match and has set him apart from most people in the game. Eventually the music industry became a reality, with a crew of his friends Melodic formed the N.@.S.@ Boyz who caught the attention of Devonta Shears better known as D. Shears. Without a doubt Melodic has proved that he is a staying power within the Hip-hop industry. With the release of his first album “New Era“ and mixtape “ I keep it 1hunnid “ dropping this summer , the possibilities are endless as to what he will do in the future.
