Travis Scott is the stage name of Jacques Webster, a Houston-born hip-hop artist and producer affiliated with Kanye West's GOOD Music and T.I.'s Grand Hustle. Scott has a heavily Auto-Tuned half-sung/half-rapped vocal style, and refers to himself as a singer rather than a rapper. He's produced or co-produced tracks by Kanye West, Rihanna, and Drake, and he's appeared on tracks by Jay-Z, Pusha T, Meek Mill, and numerous others. Within four years of his 2012 mainstream arrival, Scott attained platinum singles as a lead artist and songwriter/producer, as well as a pair of Top Five studio albums, the latter of which went to number one.

Scott grew up in a suburb of Houston and began making music as a teenager. He formed a duo called the Graduates with Chris Holloway, and they released an EP in 2009. The following year, he formed another duo, the Classmates, with OG Chess. Scott produced the duo's two full-lengths, Buddy Rich and Cruis'n USA, and the duo broke up by the end of 2011. After dropping out of college, Scott moved to Los Angeles and began recording music on his own. He met T.I. and eventually Kanye West. West hired Scott as an in-house producer for GOOD Music, and appeared on the label's 2012 compilation Cruel Summer. Scott's debut, Owl Pharaoh, was originally scheduled to be released as a free mixtape in 2012, but as his profile grew (including a placement in XXL Magazine's Freshman Class of 2013), and due to sample clearance issues, the album wasn't released until May of 2013. Featuring guest appearances by T.I. and 2 Chainz (on single "Upper Echelon") as well as Toro y Moi and Justin Vernon of Bon Iver, the mixtape eventually garnered a nomination for Best Mixtape at the 2013 BET Hip Hop Awards.

The build-up to Scott's first proper studio album involved the mixtape Days Before Rodeo, promoted with the singles "Don't Play" and "Mamacita," and the March 2015 U.S. Rodeo Tour, for which Scott headlined, supported by Young Thug and Metro Boomin. Several of the dates sold out. During the same month, Rihanna's Scott-produced hit single "Bitch Better Have My Money" was released. "3500" and "Antidote" were released ahead of Rodeo, Scott's second full-length, which followed in September on Grand Hustle/Epic and debuted at number three on the Billboard 200. Toward the end of the year, "Antidote" peaked at number 16 on the Hot 100 and became Scott's first platinum single.

Chatter regarding a follow-up, along with numerous delays, ensued throughout much of 2016. Meanwhile, Scott extended his commercial presence with featured spots on Wiz Khalifa's "Bake Sale," Rihanna's "Woo," and Kanye West's "FML," as well as a collaboration with Young Thug and Quavo, "Pick Up the Phone," a mid-year hit issued as the lead single of Young Thug's JEFFERY. Three months later, after "Bitch Better Have My Money" earned a platinum certification, Scott's second proper album arrived. Titled Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight, after one of Quavo's lines in "Pick Up the Phone," the woozy, mostly midtempo set featured that hit and contributions from the likes of André 3000, Kid Cudi, and Kendrick Lamar. It went straight to the top of the Billboard 200.

Leading up to his third LP, Scott appeared on "Kelly Price" from Migos' Culture and on Drake's "Portland" from the More Life project. The latter track peaked within the Top Ten of the Hot 100, Scott's highest charting to date. ~ Paul Simpson & Andy Kellman

Real name Marlon Robain born in Brooklyn, New York on Sept, 25th 1985 moved to Huntsville, Alabama in Feb, 2002.

Both of his parents are from Trinidad and his step dad is from Jamaica so reggae and dancehall play a major part in

His culture. Growing up his mom always played music while she cleaned the house and that lead to his fascination with hip hop. Being very gifted in math and science it seemed that school was to easy and not enough challenging. J.Diamond wanted to play basketball and football but his parents were academic first parents so sports was out of the question. Began battiling at the age of 14 in the cafeteria of his high school, William Floyd high by the rap name of J.Diamond which he promised he would never reveal how he got the name. J.Diamond's style was heavily influenced by street lyricists and the users of punchlines such as Biggie, Lloyd Banks, Fabolous ,Cassidy, Jadakiss and Camron. Rapping in high school wasn't making any money and undecided of what direction his future was heading, J.diamond did what most young black Americans do which is dropout of school and started selling drugs. Street life and hustling lead to trouble, arrests, and poor choice of women, understanding that their are no 401k plans in dealing, J.Diamond fell under the wing off his uncle who rapped and had a studio in his home. When his uncle died J.Diamond wasn't able to take it well because in his eyes his uncle was the best mc the world never got to hear. Wanting to fulfill his uncles dream of making it in the hip hop world, J.Diamond searched for open mics and battles and that came to a halt due to being in a era the south dominated, J.Diamond grouped up with local friends and started to create a record label. That plan fell apart due do procrastination on label mates and the owners who shall not be named J.Diamond found himself always starting from scratch because no one was on his level or pace and he was very eager to become a star, J.diamond realized his vision couldn't be seen by others in order to get further he had to finance his own career by working anywhere that would hire him and putting all his money into himself instead of building a label with others. J.diamond was always a good lyricist from battling but knowing that battle mc's don't find there place into to hip hop stardom, he developed how to write songs with concepts unlike no other telling the world of his struggle to get to the finer things in life. Dealing with artists that move slow made J.diamond learn how to do his own hooks without having multiple artists on every song, the true meaning of independence. J.Diamond's first mixtape Diamond In The Dirt shows he is a major sneaker head and a ladies man/pretty boy trying to bring back that stupid fly era like the way Dipset did it, spitting that concrete jungle flow and delivery over production from the southern trap. When its all said and done J.Diamond wants to be remembered as one of the best ever especially for his songwriting ability.

Born in Los Angeles, CA, Lewis first realized his vocal potential at age 6. Though he shared his talent in church, singing remained a personal hobby until he and his sister took to YouTube. As interest piqued among viewers, so did Lewis’ desire to pursue his gift. And his strides are apparent. While singing for producer Donnie Scantz, he impressed industry veteran, Garnett March, and was soon signed to The Chemists. The rest is history-in-the-making as he prepares his debut album and single. With influences ranging from Chris Brown and Justin Timberlake to Michael Jackson, Lewis wants his sound and content to reflect his reality. By delving into and remaining true to his experiences as a teen, he hopes to create timeless music. And it’s exactly what he is meant to do.
