GreenHitz.com
Cortney Bryson, who goes by his stage name One-Da, was born on October 2nd, 1986 in Hampton, Va. Shortly after his first birthday they relocated to Burlington, NC where they remained until 1997 after which they moved to Greensboro, NC. One-Da attended James B. Dudley Sr. High School where he graduated in 2004. After being in North Carolina for so long he decided to move to Florida where he attended Florida A&M University (FAMU) until 2005. He later moved back to North Carolina where he finished school at North Carolina Central University graduating magna cum laude. One-Da started rapping around the age of 13 when he was told by people in his neighborhood that he had a gift with words. He was influenced by artists such as Canibus, Jay-Z, Biggie Smalls, Big L, Tupac, eminem, and OutKast, which helped him develop witty lyrics at a young age. By the time he was 15 he had 5 notebooks filled with lyrics, which he had created throughout the years. He then began battle rapping on Internet sites using “FlawlessFlowz” as his moniker. One-Da began experimenting with music in middle school where he learned to play the saxophone later switching to percussion. After 4 years of rapping with the group Full Time Hustlaz (F.T.H.) One-Da decided to venture off and start working on his solo career. After talking with long time friend and manager Chris Key the two decided to form Locked Tight Entertainment in 2010. One-Da recently released his debut mix tape Boi One-Da & Dubb Present Short Notice which was done in conjunction with west coast native Bryan “Dubb” Whitney. The two met over the Internet and created what many people have said to be a mix tape that “brings hip hop back to its roots.” Currently One-Da is beginning work on his 2nd mix tape which has yet to be titled. With a noticeable flare and style, One-Da has opened up for artists such as Big K.R.I.T., Cyhi The Prynce, Curren$y, Little Brother, and Kendrick Lamar. With exciting rhymes, mind boggling concepts and creative delivery One-Da is looking to push hip-hop to the next level. “Hip hop is definitely NOT dead” said One-Da, “if anything it is living through the new generation of artists including J. Cole, Wale, Asher Roth, B.O.B., Wiz Khalifa, Drake, Lil Wayne etc…” Follow @BoiOneDaFTH on twitter! http://www.OneDafulMusic.com http://www.myspace.com/boioneda http://www.facebook.com/boioneda http://lafango.com/epk/OneDa Download One-Da - Hustle Feelin' Good Clean Download One-Da - Hustle Feelin' Good Dirty Download One-Da - Stadium Music Main Contact: OneDafulBooking@gmail.com / (919) 656-8292 Norman Epps (Manager) Email: Norm.OneDafulMusic@gmail.com Twitter: @NormE365 Phone: (919) 308-0751 John Stephenson (Manager) Email: Johnnc1906@gmail.com Twitter: @JohnEStephenson Phone: (910) 489-1215
