GreenHitz.com
Stephon Willingham Jr. "Fatman" was born and raised in Ridgeway, South Carolina, to Stephon Willingham and Linda Adams. Family is the most important part of his life, because his grandmother Robbie Mae Adams instilled in him the importance of family and loving everyone. He attended Fairfield Central High School in Winnsboro, South Carolina. After taking several wrong turns Fatman dropped out of high school. Later on after a tragic incident landing two of his cousins in prison, one which was his best friend he decided to take a different route and become a barber. In 2006, he joined a group called "Ready Boyz" with two friends which are also brothers. After four years of making music with the group he decided to go solo and do it on his own under the name "Big Boi Status". Although he is no longer apart of the group they support one another in the music game. As he branched off the name "Fatman" became known and "Big Boi Status" is becoming not just a logo to represent him but a movement in the music game across many counties in South Carolina. In October of 2010 he decided to do his first video to a song called "Welcome to My World" which represented his life and the people that he has had with him along the way. It featured family, friends, children, elders and the town of Ridgeway where he was born and raised. This video and song alone showed how much family and the people he love means to him. This video meant a lot to him because not only did it represent his life story he worked hard to make sure it was a success and he funded it by himself. A year later in August of 2011 he was blessed to have Mr. Stewart notice his talent and help manage his second video "Jig It" which was a huge success. Once again he showed love to everyone and made sure his home town and the people that supported him were involved. To Fatman, family and music cannot be separated. From as long as he can remember music has been all he is interested in. He knows that rapping is the gift God has given him to reach many. His model is as long as he keeps God first everything else will fall in place. Fat Man Ft. Shawty Crunk - Jig It Clean Fat Man Ft. Shawty Crunk - Jig It Dirty Fat Man Ft.
