At the early age of 10 months Matthew had already appeared in his first commercial and still continues to appear on countless radio, TV and print ads nationally. Mdot carried his exposure to the camera, along with his musical abilities and created the formula that has fashioned and defined him as an artist. Matthew is a true vocalist that plays 5 instruments (piano, sax, drums, bass and guitar) and is an alumnus of the Berklee College of Music in Boston where he attended on a scholarship. He appeared in his first major lead role in the Disney original movie "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam" along side co-stars The Jonas Brother and Demi Lovato, in the movie, Mdot plays Luke Williams, a hotshot performer from the rival camp, Camp Star. They challenge Camp Rock to a musical showdown to see which camp has the stronger musical talent. His first tour was on the Jonas Brothers/Camp Rock World Tour 2010, where he was a co-starring act and performed for audiences of over 60,000. Appearing on MTV's "Becoming" TV show, Mdot has also served as an electrifying opening act for artists ranging from Day 26, Ciara, Yung Joc and Rick Ross to Temptations, Talib Kwali and Mos Def. Mdot writes all of his songs and has a large publishing catalog ranging in genre. Having a Top 10 single for 10 weeks with his single "Fire", Mdot has a fan base that ranges in a variety of different areas all over the world and is currently working on an album that he says will be "the best R&B/Pop album without a Parental Advisory sticker on it".
