Raised in a musical household, his father is a jazz musician and his mother is a jazz vocalist. At an early age Aktual learned to play the piano and read music. In high school, he started DJ’ing parties, and networking by passing out business cards he made himself. On a way to making a name for himself, Aktual then began to focus on producing and songwriting. Through different business ventures, he began working with different Artist & Record Labels. All that grinding paid off, earning Aktual production & collaborations on records with several A list artists such as Young Jeezy, Lil Wayne, Kafani, Mistah Fab, Gucci Mane, Outlawz, Bobby Valentino, Playaz Circle, Estelle, LL Cool J, Sean Garrett, Cyhi Da Prynce, Young Dro, Young Buck, Future, Oj Da Juiceman, Chalie Boy, Blood Raw, etc...
