If you’ve been following HIF for a while now you have probably seen these a couple times before. Mid started them back in 09 and Bruce did them a couple times last year. They have been requested to be brought back a couple times now so I’m gonna start doing them with regular updates, not everyday but at least twice a week.

This is the original version of Dead Presidents. It has the same beat, but 2 different verses than DPII. This version wasn’t on “Reasonable Doubt”, but was released as a single on vinyl.

Nas – The World Is Yours (Q-Tip Mix)

This is the official remix to Nas’ The World Is Yours. Pretty much the opposite of Dead Presidents this has a different beat and slightly different lyrics than the original Pete Rock produced version. This version wasn’t on “Illmatic”, but was released as a single and had a

shot for it. Also this is the clean version. I’m not sure if the dirty was ever released, even the hook to Dead Presidents sampled the clean version.

Sway And King Tech Feat RZA, Tech N9ne, Eminem, Xzibit, Pharoahe Monch, Kool G Rap, Jayo Felony, Chino XL, And KRS-One - The Anthem

This is off of Sway and King Tech’s 1999 album “This Or That“. The Wake-Up Show has done a couple different versions of The Anthem. The first being in 94, which Mid posted back when he did random singles, and the latest being the 2010 version which features RZA and Tech N9ne among others.
