Lil1 & Jay have a fresh new sound that combines the best of rap, pop, hip hop, and musical influences from around the globe. Jay AKA Jonathan Igbinovia hails from Lagos, Nigeria, and has been living in the U.S. for almost 15 years. You may have heard of him before. He was ranked #1 on Nigeria’s tennis circuit, an All-American at Georgia Perimeter College, and he was even ranked in the World Top 50. When he’s not playing clubs or writing new hits with Lil1, Jay is a tennis instructor who likes to work with kids from all over the world. Lil1 AKA Forrest McLaughlin is a native of Atlanta, GA, and he attended Columbiia High School in Decatur. When he’s not in the classroom at Dekalb Tech, he spends most of his time writing and producing for the group. Lil1 has a lot going on at school, but he likes to hit the clubs and rap whenever he gets a chance. He says it keeps his music fresh, and he’s always looking for new sounds to share with the fans.
