Nvapa name Alban) - Swedish artist of Nigerian origin, who works in the style of Eurodance, the owner of his own record label Dr. Records. Alban Nvapa began professionally playing music at age 23. Nvapa not going to become a musician, he studied at the University at the dentist. At first listening to Alban was just a hobby and then became a means of livelihood. To pay for his studies at the university, he settles in as a DJ at a popular night club in Stockholm called Alphabet Street. After a while his name became known among fans of club music in Sweden. Later, Alban finished university and gets a job as a practicing dentist, but the enthusiasm of club music is not forgotten, in the evenings he continues to look for jobs in a nightclub. In 1990, Alban meets DJ Denniz PoP, representing a record label SweMix. Together with Denniz and rap ispolnitelnetsey Leila K, Alban writes the first song Hello Africa (English Hi, Africa), which brings him his first success. This song - a tribute to Nigerian roots Alban. As a stage name Alban Nvapa, leaves his name, but adds to the reduction of Dr., A result Dr. Alban (Dr Alban).
