Whether you win all stems from what you do when opportunity reveals itself.... Skye first met J. Cole Spring 2010 in the Rocawear office the day that the PSA was shot for "Everybody's Haitian". Both artists were focused on their album projects and ready to prove themselves to the world. A simple introduction was made and that was it. Opportunity presented itself again at a Grey Goose event Fall 2010 in New York City where J. Cole was the headlining act. In the VIP section both artists said wsup to each other and Skye mentioned a song of Cole's that was leaked around the time with no hook called "Problems". Skye told Cole he wanted to get on the track and J Cole simply said "Ok, do what you do" The hook was easy for Skye to write to because its relatable on so many levels and walks of life. Fast forward to last week and the day before Skye lays the hook down in the studio for the song, he's in SONY offices talking with execs under Bystorm Entertainment, which happens to be J. Cole's management company. They also gave the blessing to record the song and here it is to the world.... Look out for Skye's EP-Brochures (Coming Soon) J.
