Trombonist Sonny Costanzo led a Big Band in the Northeast for many years. The 17-piece outfit, which on this CD plays arrangements by Dick Burlant, Jeff Holmes, and Chic Cicchetti, is in the Count Basie vein, and in the past had the opportunity to accompany Tony Bennett. Performing seven familiar standards (such as "After You've Gone," "Let's Fall in Love," and "There Will Never Be Another You") and two originals, Fine middle-of-the-road, swinging big band music.
