Every now and then, two worlds collide. When they meet, it provides a much needed balance that neither could achieve on their own. You’d be hard pressed to find another artist like Priest Soul, the offspring of gospel and rhythm & blues. The 27-year-old streetwise soul singer emerged from a small town outside of Chicago, Illinois. Priest Soul began singing in church, as an adolescent, after being strongly influenced by the evangelical zeal of his grandfather. This fervor and conviction for the church never left, as Priest Soul decided to expand beyond gospel and dedicate himself to other musical genres.

The talented singer, songwriter, producer and composer Priest Soul is a quadruple threat within the R & B industry. His strong voice and smooth lyrics embodies the essence of influences like Sam Cooke, Marvin Gaye and Donnie Hathaway. His mature, harmonious sound, along with his street swag and unbelievable stage presence are the makings of a rising star in the Entertainment industry.

After showcasing his vocal set while performing with greats such as Dave Hollister, Dru Hill and Joe; Priest Soul branched out to develop his personal style and charismatic keen. Subsequent to making the finals in P. Diddy’s “MAKING THE BAND.” Priest Soul received a call to further his career as a solo artist, and the Chicago-bred musician signed simultaneously with independent label, C.A.T.O Records.

A balance of hard work, patience, and a unique sound are indispensable qualities that have scaled Priest Soul’s career. He has spent the last couple of years writing, arranging, and composing quality music and indispensable sounds for his debut album. This is a true reflection of his influences and experiences intertwined.

Priest Soul recently released his lead single, “Pressure.” The track is filled with emotion and Priest Soul’s charismatic personality as he uncovers an uncontrollable, divine connection between a fairly new couple who is steadily “pressure” to overcome adversity in their relationship and fight to admit their love. Its smooth resonance and catchy lyrics are sure to make waves across the country. His sophomore single, “Get Home” is about reaching a breaking point in relationships and leaving after declaring that you have had enough.

Priest Soul has a soothing voice, a winner’s spirit, and a natural knack for the musical craft. His focus is on creating relevant yet timeless music in a world where R-N-B Soul was once lost. Priest Soul’s sound represents the union of the man that God made him to be and the man that he is destined to be. With his digitally debut album, scheduled for a 2011 release, Priest Soul is ready to start a euphonious revolution with his quality and cutting edge music. He is prepared to breathe new life into soul music.
