At the age of 12 he left Indiana and was re-located in Tacoma, Washington. At a new school and not knowing many people he ran into a group of kids who were influenced my music, at that hip hop as much as B was. B had wrote poetry and attempted a few songs but had never done what they called "A freestyle Session" or "Hop in a Cypher" before. This was new to him but adapted quickly, and him and his group that he ran with began to gain popularity around school and even other schools in the area began to take notice. The Lakewood/Tacoma area large but small in the eyes of the hip-hop community was hard to make a name here. After completing middle school B left Washington and started High School in Hawaii where he futher began to standout with his music ability. Arriving in Hawaii much the same way he did in Washington ran in to kids who were in to music and made friends the same way and again quickly made a name for himself. While also being an athlete on the Varsity basketball team those that didn't know of his music ability knew of his game. Focused on both, B managed to letter 3 years in Varsity Sports and still found to perform at Jr. and Sr. prom, Homecoming, and misc. events and graduation parties. Also during High School and and another studemt Kj Da King released a mixtape featuring a few local artist and themselves which sold around 4- 600 copies. After graduating HS B went to The University of Upper Iowa with hoop dreams still on his mind receiving a partial scholarship but fell through. Sticking with music Benific and KJ calling themselves the Evicted Tenants released there 2nd mixtape titled the Eviction Notice and sold copies in Hawaii, Iowa, Indiana and with the help of a local DJ in the area DJ Koo even Florida. Meeting DJ Koo at Upper Iowa Benific was also Featured on his mixtape titled "The Great Mandingo Vol. 1" and DJ RPS's mixtape released from WPOW Power 96.5 Floridas hottest hip-hop and r&b radio station. The song ft. was a remix to the Ying Yang Twins "Dangerous" that also got some airplay in local clubs in the area. Benific was also ft. on DJ Green Lanturns Myspace Invasion, Coast 2 Coast Mixtape Hosted by DJ Kahled, a ft on JT The Bigga Figgas mixtape series and is currently has a single for sale on itunes wit MIMS for sale titled ROM POM POM. At this time Benific has a vault of music and is almost finished with his 1st solo mixtape titled "Bachlor Brad." His music influences include Joe Budden, Black Star, Common, Rakim, Jada, Kanye and his Unlce Ed but his favorite rapper is the NOTORIOUS BIG.
