With singer/songwriter JoBee, you get that same sort of feeling. Growing up with Gospel singers and other musicians always around the house, singing some derivation of Gospel music is just the family business at this point. Recently, JoBee has enjoyed a nice surprise in charting strongly in Internet add charts as well as college radio, suggesting a strong future for JoBee. The oriental-influenced song debuted on the Top 30 Urban and Pop charts for the Most Adds for Internet, College, and Satellite Radio. When listening to JoBee's music, the Gospel influence is unmistakable to the point that the listener truly realizes where the roots of modern music lay. His music also gives you a genuine appreciation for the role of faith and soul in a music that sometimes comes off as formulaic. To listen to a JoBee track is certainly soulful to say the least.
