The artistic gene is innate in him, because he was rocked during his childhood by records of Jazz and Afro music and reggae. He was predeceased in the hip hop movement by his older brother Xalima j who was his first influence. During an early age he frequently attended rehearsals for the Kaolack nasa squad group of which Xalima j was a member, which increased the attractiveness of hip hop to him. From an early age he began to take an interest in music, particularly rap, drawing inspiration from local and international references such as Daara j, Alien zik, Bob Marley, Royce da 5'9, Sizzla, Nas, or even J Cole and Chronixx more recently.
