He is currently signed under the record label R.E.D.(Real Entertainment Denominations ). His artistically imaginative, creative and versatile musical style is influenced by Afro-pop with a Nigerian heritage. DeanKelly, an undergraduate of the University Of Lagos was a member of a group of independent composers formed by him and his friends in the university named THE MISFITS. DeanKelly released his official single debut track, titled “IMMA KIP” on June 4, 2009. On July 30, 2012 his second track, titled “AMA KIP KIP” was released as an appreciation song for the popular South-African based urban Clothing line with the same name. A very hardworking and highly dedicated individual, DeanKelly taught himself how to play the guitar and has a few production credits. On June 10, 2016 his commercial debut single titled “Sexy Didi” was released on iTunes.
