King $wagavelli is a hip hop artist from Hampton, Va. Since a child he had a passion for music but had no idea it would later become his career. Growing up in the Shell Road area of Hampton he wanted a better life for him, his family, and friends. After sports didn't work out he picked up a new hobby to replace the pain. After dropping his first track and realizing the whole actual process of a song he then started taking the new hobby serious. He then realized that music was his new way to escape the ghetto. He knew the dream wouldn't come true if he didn't put in work. So day and night he recorded song after song until he proved majority of his doubters wrong. The lack of support from family, friends, and peers made him work even harder. He knew if he out worked everyone that you don't have to like it but you are gonna respect it.
