Carlito was twelve years old when his family migrated to Canada. However, he never forgets his cultural roots planted firmly in reggae music. Carlitos was raised in Toronto, Canada. He grew up listening to Shabba Ranks, Burning Spear, Buju Banton, and Sanchez. His high school music teacher became his mentor who recognized Carlito’s talent and encouraged Carlito to pursue his musical journey. Carlito began to perform at local clubs in Toronto and across Canada where he got most of his confidence and experience. Carlito has shared the same stage with Jamaica international artists such as Baby Cham, Wayne Wonder, Spragga Benz Beenie man and Buju Banton. His first single was with Outta Road records “NEVER BEEN TOUCH” on the Mash up Riddim.
