GreenHitz.com
Boogie Santana, A.K.A. Nathaniel Lytes is one of DMV's best young rappers. He grew up in Prince George’s County Maryland and currently resides there. Growing up, he was inspired by artists such as Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, Bow Wow, 50 Cent, Young Buck, Young Jeezy, and Gucci Mane. As Nathaniel continued to love the art of music and rap, what inspired him the most to jump into the field, was his older cousin, Brandon “JagMoney”. Once Nathaniel listened to his cousins mix tape, “Hustle Til You Famous Vol. 2” he knew from then on that he wanted to rap. He began rapping in 2005. As Boogie got older and started to rap over instrumental songs, he started to think to himself that he could be his own favorite rapper. Around 2012, he got himself involved with a music group called "N-House Entertainment". Boogie Santana started working on his first mix tape in 2015 called “Cut From a Maryland Cloth” #CFAMDC. He is now in the process of completing the sequel, “Cut From a Maryland Cloth 2” #CFAMDC2. At the young age of 23, Boogie Santana is satisfied with the work he has done thus far. This work consists of promoting his songs, growing in his craft, and writing his own music as well as writing for other artists featured on his mix tape. Additionally, he has one of his most recent hits, “Signed to the Trap” which was released in September, 2016 being distributed to online stores including iTunes and Amazon. His very first show was in 2012 at a club called "Lamonts" where he performed one of his older songs, "Guttah Boo". He was shocked that he had caught everybody's attention and now he plans to take the WHOLE UNIVERSE's attention. Follow @BoogieSantanaMD on twitter!
