GreenHitz.com
Female Lyricist "Crist'ian E" born Asha Buchanan was raised on the Eastside of Atlanta Georgia. She fell in love with the power of spoken word and underground Hip-Hop at the age of 10 years old. At the age of 12 she decided to embark on the evolution of Hip-Hop. Being in the presence of VA’s Hip-Hip production group “IDU” with Scotty Organix, Tony Walker (The Mega Roka) and Marlon C she studied and admired the dialogue that rap legends such as Common, Queen Latifah, Mos Def, Tupac, MC Lyte, Busta Rhymes and Eminem spoke in their music and got the inspiration to form into her own as an artist. Crist'ian E's first performances were at local events and music festivals dropping her first single “Game Over” at the age of 17, which gained her a lot of supporters and positive feedback. She appeared on a pilot for VH1's “Shaun Nicole, Two Tables & A Mic Show” and captivated the crowd during a performance at Georgia's Sweet Auburn Festival and Hosea's Williams Feed The Hungry in Savannah, GA. Since then, Crist’ian E launched into her own, working on her mixtape and partnering with local Atlanta recording studios to create smash hits like her newest single, "100 Godz”. “100 Godz” speaks on the current state of rap and lack of originality in hip-hop, with people claiming a position that only one is entitled to. Now at the age of 22, Crist'ian E has traveled the road of apprentice, she proves to be a force to be reckoned with and the taught must now teach. Preparing to stand by the “E” in her name, as the Essence of Hip Hop, she brings the words her mind speaks, with the love and pain her heart feels, spilling it into her music.
