Back in 2012 Brecik hit the scene with ‘Bring It On’ and ‘Breakdown’ as the featured singles and preludes to the highly anticipated, 3 years in the making album ‘RezErection’ ‘Breakdown’ in particular had a huge following and has been used in fashion parades and videos all around the world. Working with one of Melbourne’s hottest new producers, Jeffo, ‘RezErection’ is as cheeky as the name and adds to the already amazing electro dance feel – incorporating elements of dub step and club beats to complete that perfect sound which vibrates right through your body, impossible to keep still to. ‘RezErection’ saw a maturing in its 3 years of work – taking inspiration from everything around him at the time from sounds to tv shows like Mob Wives for the track ‘Enough is Enough’ and his newly sparked friendship with Real Housewives of Melbourne star Gina Liano for ‘You Will Never Be Her’ One of the biggest stand out songs on the album and a favourite for most was the cover of the 90’s classic ‘Stay’ originally performed by Shakespears Sister.
