Raised in Hamilton, Ohio, a City Outside of Cincinnati, Benji frank has been thru it all from almost being shot point blank range to selling anything he could get his hands in to feed his family. From the bottom to the top he stries to do his best. Born, Craig Lovell Bourne, Jr, his family always knew he had what it takes. He has this unique grunge sound that lets you know he's telling the truth the the microphone as he spills out the day in the life of a trapstar. Benji once said, "Living in his environment, it was either stack or starve". He discovered he could rap in the 5th grade while being in trouble and constantly being punished for not cooperating in class. But then he discovered his rhyming gift. During High school, Benji Would kick freestyles with his long time friend, Dashawn "Sunny Dope" Sudberry, as he made the beat by beat boxing or making a sound by beating the table. He always had a love for music always walking around Hamilton, ohio waiting on his time to shine. His longtime best friends, Rahme " Mae Miz" Knight, And Da'shawn " Sunny Dope" Sudberry were the same way. They were 3 the hard way. After his daughter, Amiya Kay-Amor Bourne, Was born he had to put his career on hault and move to Toledo, Ohio to make this situation better for him and his family. But thats where he came up with the Persona that is "Benji Frank" In 2012, Benji released his first solo mixtape, "Trap Dedication: Persevere", To kick off his mixtape series. After droppin the 1st tape, He Came back March 1st, 2013 with "TD2: Ambition" for the 2nd installment in the series. It hit the streets hard, From Adults to lil kids they were surprised to hear a sound so well developed and Catchy. They had no choice but to join the wave. Benji Frank started his solo career to hopefully bring the M.O.B. team right along with him all way to the top. Stay tuned and keep Looking for him.
