His choice of words explains his carefulness when expressing his love and desire. Silver stated that every song he wrote and performed were songs that were real. True experiences. For instance, Negro Romeo is a song written about interracial relationships. Silver explains how he had to deal with societal pressure in order to manage falling in love with a caucasian girl.
