AR-15 is one of the most exciting artists and entrepreneurs in hip-hop today. Louisiana-bred AR is a native of Labadieville & downtown New Orleans. Musically gifted, he started playing in a jazz band before he was a teenager and continued to play the trombone for 8 years before branching off to other instruments. His career path was set in motion at the early age of 14 with the release of the album Ruthless Emotions from former record label Vikin Records. Since then AR-15 has released a constant array of diverse tracks that reflect his life & times. Always touching on his personal experiences and struggles he strives to maintain this truth in his music.Overflowing with potential, AR-15 not only writes all of his music but is also a producer and CEO of the record label he founded in 2005 at the young age of 19, 2Faced Records, Inc. Under the 2Faced label he has released a total of 17 mixtapes which include in 2011 Active, Death Before Dishonor, and Respect it or Check It. The EPK project 1 Man Army and his first solo album, Play the Game Raw closely followed. January of 2012 brought about his second solo album, Louisiana’s Finest courtesy of gold and platinum credited Savage of Sargent Savage Productions (known for his work with Lil Boosie, Webbie & many others) as well as the mixtapes Live to Hustle Part 2 and Deal or No Deal. Stand out singles from these efforts include “Burn by the Beast” and “Just Tryna Make It” which are both available on iTunes with accompanying videos. In 2013 AR joined forces with one of the South’s most notable DJ’s, DJ Michael 5000 Watts (credits include Paul Wall, Slim Thug & Mike Jones). In this joint venture with Swishahouse AR-15 released Product of my Environment in May of 2013. “What They Really Want From Me”, “Imma Grind & I Won’t Stop” are two of the hit singles emerging from this project. These endeavors join an ever expanding repertoire that already includes the notable; Crucial Status, Check They Swag, Outer State Huslin, Last Man Standin, Hit em Up, Southern Northwest Vol 1, Crime Wave (The Plot) Vol 1, Tryna Find a Way and LouisiANIMAL.Creatively, AR is in a constant state of evolution. In 2014 AR-15 released 2 solid diverse mixtapes, "Im Serious" & "Da Cook Up", collaborating with Bienvielle Muzik  "Big Dog N.O. Some of the hit singles include "Keep It Real " & "Im Working". In march of 2014  AR-15 released his 2nd solo album "The Koolaid Man" which is available on ITunes, Amazon, and several digital music distributors. AR-15 was also featured on On Demand Comcast & Hip Hop Weekly. In 2015 AR-15 released his 17 mixtape "Da Plug" with a single/ video "Whip It" Feat. Young Heavy. In March Of 2016 AR released his  "Blood Money" mixtape.  He continues to release top notch videos for his singles which can be seen on his official YouTube channel. Branching out into video production and direction has given him a new outlet for his overall creative vision. By collaborating with other artists in the visual arena AR hopes to further expand his reach in the entertainment community. With a style that is equal parts determined, humble, authentic, sharp & at times ruthless AR has always attested that hard work pays off. The future brings the continued progression of his brand to multiple areas of entertainment further establishing that AR epitomizes what it takes to be a dynamic force in hip-hop.
