He uses words that are uncommonly employed in a rap, and shares his stories giving it a motivational content. During the presentations Quicks gives all his energy out and transmit it to his fans, making his shows unique and energetic. Most of the time Young Quicks was an independent musician, even though offers with record labels did occur. It was not until 2008, when Down aka Kilo "Mr. Lean Like a Cholo" asked Quicks to join him, when Young Quicks accepted to sign with a record label. After a lot of hard work and various presentations, Traveling, Quicks decided to be independent again and incorporate his own corporation called "Street Talent Ent. LLC" , and on April 2009 he released his first street album titled "Stop Jock’n My Swag"! He was then featured on the front page of AOL LATINO, Did interviews for media outlets (Batanga.com & Terra.com) & even made a appearance in Gordo y La Flaca out in miami donating toys to the kids. In early 2010 he released "I Am Steet Talent Vol.1" Followed by "Almost Major" which was released in 2011. Being mentored by outstanding artists such as Terminal (Locura Terminal), Down Aka Kilo, Big Tank, Fingazz and Damizza, Quicks learned the most important tips to grow more as a rapper. His music has been played in his hometown radio station Q104.7, wild102.9 (Reno, NV), Power94 in (Bend, Or), Wild 107.5 (Portland,OR), The Latin Legacy Show (Pocos Pero Locos), Latino96.3 (Los Angeles) 103.3 The Vibe (Los Angeles), and some stations overseas, along with performing for thousands from coast to coast (New York, Nevada, Arizona, California, Florida). "Young Quicks" released the music video "Young Fly Latino" which resulted in landing a song titled "Robert Garcia" and shot a Music Video which ended up on World Star Hip Hop during the Maidana and Mayweather fight getting 100,000 views. Shortly after this event Young Quicks quickly bonded with Robert Garcia's lightweight champion Brandon Rios leading him to eventually making a record that was entitled "Against All Odds" after hearing the record Brandon Rios loved the song and personally asked "Young Quicks" to walk him out performing the song at his fight in Colorado against Mike Alvarado, which was broadcast on HBO reaching 1.3 million households. Young Quicks still shows no plans of slowing down. He is the rapper that everyone has been waiting for, and it is evident that the future has great things waiting for him.
